Privacy Policy

This policy covers the avybz.store website: what personal information it collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and the choices you have. The AVYBZ app has its own policy at avybz.store/mobile-app-privacy-policy.

Who we are. AVYBZ is a trading brand of OJAMEA INTELLAHIVE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS L.L.C (Dubai trade licence No. 831372, Commercial Register No. 1973497), Unit 2, 681 Sheikh Zayed Road, Ali Al Hashemi Building, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 82202 ("AVYBZ", "we", "us"). We run avybz.store and are responsible for your personal information. For anything about your privacy, email orders@avybz.store.

1. Information you give us

When you create an account: your email address and a password (both required), and your first and last name if you enter them. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of your password and cannot see it. If you tick the box to receive marketing emails, we record that you agreed and when; it is off unless you tick it.

In your account: your name, phone number and marketing choice (Account → Profile), and any delivery addresses you save: name, phone, country, emirate or region, city, area, street, building, apartment, landmark and postal code.

When you place an order: your email, name, delivery address, phone number if you give it, the items, the delivery option and the payment method you chose. You can order without an account; we still keep a customer record with your email, name and phone so your orders stay together, and you can set a password for it later by creating an account with the same email.

Newsletter sign-up: if you enter your email in a sign-up box on the site, we store the email, where on the site you signed up, when, and the IP address the request came from.

Discount codes and searches: discount codes you enter in your bag, and the words you search for on the site (with your account, if you are signed in).

When you contact us: whatever you choose to include in your email or WhatsApp message. The site has no contact form.

2. Payments

The website never asks for or stores card details.

Cash on delivery: you pay our driver when your order arrives.
Payment link: if you choose it, we email you a link to a payment page run by a payment provider, and you pay there. The provider handles your card details under its own privacy policy; we never receive them.

3. Information collected automatically

Sign-in: when you create an account or sign in, we record the IP address and browser information (user-agent) with your sign-in session, to keep your account secure.
Abuse protection: to limit repeated attempts, we briefly record the IP address or email address used for sign-in, password reset, account creation, checkout, discount codes and newsletter sign-up.
Server logs: like most websites, our web server logs each request: IP address, browser information, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use these logs only to run and protect the site.

The website contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools and no third-party trackers. Its pages, images and films are served from our own server.

4. Cookies and storage in your browser

The site sets only two cookies, both needed for it to work:

avybz_session: keeps you signed in (up to 30 days, or until you sign out);
avybz_cart: remembers your bag (30 days).

It also keeps your saved items (when you are not signed in) and the last pieces you viewed in your browser's local storage. That information stays in your browser and is not sent to us, except that saved items move to your account when you sign in or create one.

5. How we use your information

To create and run your account and keep it secure.
To take, deliver and support your orders, including order, delivery, payment, tax-invoice and credit-note emails, returns and refunds.
To contact you about a delivery by phone.
To answer your questions.
To send marketing emails or newsletters, only if you agreed. We are not sending any at present.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.

6. Who we share it with

Only as far as needed for the purposes above:

Delivery: we deliver within the United Arab Emirates only, with our own drivers. They receive your name, phone number and delivery address so they can deliver your order, collect cash-on-delivery payments and collect returns.
Email: our mailbox and the emails we send are hosted by Hostinger's email service.
Servers: the website and its database run on a virtual server rented from Hostinger.
Payment provider: only if you pay by payment link, and only what you enter on its page.
Authorities: when the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

Account information: while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account and we have verified that the request comes from the account holder, we complete the deletion within 30 days.
Orders, tax invoices and credit notes (including the name, email, phone and delivery address on each order): for at least seven years after the end of the tax period they belong to, as UAE tax law requires, even if you delete your account. They are not deleted automatically when that period ends.
Records of the emails we send you (address, subject, time and delivery status): kept, including after your account is deleted, as a record of what we sent.
Newsletter sign-ups: until you ask us to remove them or delete your account.
Checkouts you started but did not complete: the details you entered are kept with that checkout record; we do not use them to contact you.
Searches: kept as a record of what was searched; when an account is deleted, its searches are no longer linked to it.
Sign-in sessions: deleted once they expire or you sign out.
Records of sign-in and other attempts: deleted about a day later.
Server logs: deleted automatically after a limited period.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

see and update your name, phone number and saved addresses in your account; to change the email address on your account, email orders@avybz.store;
turn marketing emails off at any time in Account → Profile;
have a newsletter sign-up removed by emailing orders@avybz.store;
ask for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct it, by emailing orders@avybz.store;
delete your account in Account → Security → Delete my account while signed in, or by emailing orders@avybz.store from the address on the account. Our team then removes your name, email, phone, password, saved addresses, saved items, waitlists and newsletter sign-up, and you can no longer sign in. Orders and tax documents are kept as described in section 7.

We reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Order links. The link in your order emails opens your order page, which shows your delivery address and phone number. Anyone with the link can open it, so please do not share it.

9. Where your information is processed

We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Our email and server providers may process your information outside the United Arab Emirates. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard at least as high as this policy.

10. Security

Passwords are hashed. Sign-in sessions are stored hashed on our servers and kept in a secure, browser-only cookie. All connections to the site are encrypted. Password-reset links work once and expire after an hour.

11. Children

If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to place an order on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email orders@avybz.store and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here and update the date at the top.
